About Our Team

Mainely Plumbing & Heating Inc has delivered great value in sales and service in the Greater Portland community for the past 38+ years. In 2005 we moved our facilities from Portland, Maine to Gorham, Maine so that we could better serve the needs of our customers. We offer high-quality service and are easy to work with. Our pleasant staff will treat you well and complete your project the right way the first time. We guarantee your satisfaction with our work. Our technicians are continuously being trained in the newest plumbing and heating equipment. They are all licensed in each of their areas of specialty: plumbing, gas, oil, and life safety sprinkler systems.


There is always someone in the office to talk to you and answer service questions. We have team members in the office from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, and a 24-hour answering service for our customers’ emergencies. We have technicians with up to 20 years of experience who can figure out your problem and get it fixed as efficiently as possible. No job is too small or too large for us to handle.

Meet Tyler Robinson, Vice President of Operations

Tyler Robinson

Tyler Robinson is a multi-licensed technician who has worked in the industry for over 14 years, although he has been out helping his dad in the field since he was just a young child. Tyler’s experience, knowledge, and skills have become an important and integral part of Mainely Plumbing & Heating Inc. He is excellent at training and guiding new techs and apprentices, a master at troubleshooting issues, and a youthful visionary for the future of this industry - so much so that Tyler has served several terms filling positions inside the Maine PHCC (Plumbing Heating & Cooling Contractors) including President of the Maine chapter from 2022-2024 and becoming an active advocate and voice for the industry here in Maine.


In the past 14 years, Tyler has shown great growth, integrity, responsibility, and passion for this industry and for the business that his father started and has grown. It is with tremendous pride that Jim announced that Tyler has become a partner in this business. Tyler has taken on the Vice President of Operations title and work side by side with his father as they continue to grow and cultivate Mainely Plumbing & Heating Inc’s place in the industry and community.
